The true union design allows for easy removal and maintenance without cutting or disturbing the piping system. The valve operates with a quarter-turn mechanism, providing quick on/off control and flow direction changes. The pressure rating decreases approximately 0.5% for each 1°F increase in temperature above 73°F. The union connections use EPDM O-rings to ensure leak-free service even with repeated assembly/disassembly. Not suitable for compressed air or gas applications.
