Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions about using Trini Gifts, from ordering and delivery to selling, cooking, and getting paid.
Why use Trini Gifts in Trinidad and Tobago?
You can order from local shops and cooks, choose pickup or delivery, and follow a driver who is sharing their location.
Why sell on Trini Gifts?
It is free to list products. You do not buy a website, a domain, or hosting. Buyers already on the site can find your shop.
Why cook on Trini Gifts?
You can list homemade dishes without a website or a domain. Public chef shows whether you are open or closed, and your phone number, on the map. You are paid the dish price when the order is collected.
How does delivery work?
You choose pickup or delivery. Nationwide delivery is quoted as 2–3 days when delivery pricing is on. The price is meant to be about a taxi fare to the shop and back.
How do I refer someone?
A free account gets a code. You earn $1 for every $100 a referral spends on products. Delivery is not part of that. If you also referred the seller, you earn 2% of that sale.
What are the perks of inviting a seller?
You earn 1% of what that seller sells, or 2% of a sale when you also referred the buyer.
How do I get paid?
A seller or a chef can request a payout from their wallet after the money is theirs. Payouts are reviewed and are not instant.
How do I become a driver?
Sign in, then apply with your license, photos, and insurance. An admin reviews it before you can take a delivery.
